Concept

Based on the folk Law tale of 'The Three Kingdoms', our concept on how to re-design the story was based on Traditional wood cuts and folk law drawings.

The character that we realized is 'Baba Yaga' a folk law witch that lives in the forest. The Inspiration for her, was tree roots, ageing skin, and the illustrator Arthur Rackham.

The whole project had to be designed in black and white. Costume designer- Lynsey Moore.
